二、普渡大学学术诚信要求
普渡大学禁止任何与大学活动相关的学术不诚信行为，比如作弊、剽窃或者故意向大学提供虚假信息。除此之外，大学还规定欺骗、说谎等行为是多种多样的，例如在考试过程中使用未经允许的材料等。同时，故意直接或者间接帮助他人违反诚信守则也是一种不诚信行为。通常来说，以下几种行为会被认为是学术不诚信，包括但不限于：
（1）代替其他学生考试（substituting on an exam for another student）
（2）代替其他学生上课（substituting in a course for another student）
（3）付钱请人代写论文（paying someone else to write a paper and submitting it as one’s own work）
（4）考试中给予他人或者接受他人的答案（giving or receiving answers by use of signals during an exam）
（5）考试中抄袭他人的试卷（copying with or without the other person’s knowledge during an exam）
（6）代替他人完成课堂作业（doing class assignments for someone else）
（7）剽窃已经出版的材料、课堂作业以及实验室报告（plagiarizing published material, class assignments or lab reports）
（8）从他人处购买论文（turning in a paper that has been purchased from a commercial research firm or obtained from the Internet）
（9）事先获得未经授权的测试副本（obtaining an unauthorized copy of a test in advance of its scheduled administration）
（10）考试中使用未经允许的材料（using unauthorized notes during an exam）
（11）未经允许情况下与其他学生合作（collaborating with other students on assignments when it is not allowed）
（12）迟交考试内容（obtaining a test from the exam site, completing and submitting it later）
（13）修改考试答案以获得重新的评分（altering answers on a scored test and submitting it for a regrade）
（14）访问以及修改成绩记录（accessing and altering grade records）
（15）从他人处偷取成果来作为自己的提交（stealing class assignments from other students and submitting them as one’s own）
（16）伪造数据（fabricating data）
（17）销毁或者偷取他人的工作（destroying or stealing the work of other students）
剽窃是一种特殊的学术欺骗行为，包括偷取他人的思想或者言论，并且将其错误的呈现为自己的作品，可能有以下几种方式：
（1）使用他人的准确语言但不正确引用
（2）用自己的话复述他人的思想，但没有正确引用
（3）将他人的作品作为自己的作品来提交
