出国留学，很多留学生都会面临着写Essay的难题，字数又不能超过限制，文章内容又要丰富，结构又要清晰明了，对于这样众多要求的Essay，很多出国留学额小伙伴也是束手无策，不知道怎么安排结构，下面来为大家讲解一下Essay写作结构上大致的一个安排。
对于一篇学术essay来说,structure是相当重要的,他简直影响着整个essay的品质.很多同学在拿到一个topic的时候,都觉得无从下手,其实,要写好一篇essay,关键在于安排好他的structure,这样,论文的主要内容也会变得很容易了.以下步骤是写好一篇essay的关键.
1.字数安排.在我们拿到一个topic的时候,首先要看字数要求,并以此来安排这篇essay的大致3个部分在字数上的分配.标准的essay分为4个部分:introductionbodyconclusionreference以一份1500字的essay为例，标准比例为:introduction250字body1000字conclusion250字reference不算在字数中
2.内容(body)的字数安排.以一个topic为例:comparefrederickw.taylorandEltonMayo’smanagementtheories,whatarethesimilaritiesanddifferencesbetweenthemandwhat’stheirrelationship?这个topic其实涉及到了三个内容:A–similarities,B—differences,和C–relationship.所以我们在字数上可以把body分为3个部分,每个部分约330字.
3.Introduction.Introduction分为两部分:第一部分是background,引出topic的内容;第二部分是body中的主要内容,也就是这篇essay的内容和段落排序.以上的topic为例:Sincethesettingupofthefirstfactoriesinthelateeighteenthcentury,managementhadbecomeaproblemseriouslyaffectingthefactories’production,andthen,itwasgrduallyrecognisedasanimportantelementforthesuccessforthesuccessorfailureofacompany.untilthenineteenthcentury,thesystematicandscientificmanagementtheorycameoutwithitsleadingthinkers,twoofwhomwerewellknownasfrederickw.TaylorandEltonMayo.BothTaylorandMayostatedtheimportanceoftheproductivityandcooperationbetweenmanagersandworkers…..thisessaywillfirstlydiscuss(thisessaywillfirstlydiscuss这段话很重要,是个标志,所有essay都必须按照这个格式来.从这里开始,就是对整个essay的主要内容分几个板块来进行严格概括.这个标志后的内容应为body里的内容A)thesesimilaritiesintheirdifferentmanagementtheoriesandhowtheyrelatetoeachother.Followingthis(这句话是个标志,此话后的内容为body里的内容B)Itwillexplainthedifferencesofthetwotheoriesconcerningtheconsiderationofthehumanbeingsduringmanagementfinally,(此后内容为内容C.注意:如果body里的内容不只是ABC,或者还有DEF的话,中间可以用subsequently,forthly等等的副词作为标志来写)itwilllookathowthetwotheoriesaffectthefeelingofworkersandsupportincreasingtheproductivityandmaximissingtheefficiency.之前的内容是background,之后的就是本篇essay的主要内容.
